NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Following up on the success of his Subliminal Records imprint which launched last year, veteran DJ/producer Erick Morillo announced that he's signed on with SiriusXM to host a new radio show on the satellite broadcaster.
Airing Tuesdays at 8PM EST with rebroadcasts on Thursdays at 9AM EST and Saturdays at 6PM EST on SiriusXM’s Electric Area, Morillo's Subliminal Sessions will serve up a weekly dollop of new and classic (IE more than 5 years old) house and techno music, as well as interviews with leading figures in the EDM world.
Morillo's career encompasses nearly the entire span of modern EDM and he's released hits such as “Reach,” “Believe,” “Do What You Want” and “I Feel Love” as well as seminal 90s dance hits such as “I Like To Move It” under the moniker Reel 2 Real, which was featured in the popular Madagascar movie franchise.
“It's an honor to now be part of the SiriusXM family and have my new show Subliminal Sessions be part of their weekly line up. You can plan on hearing the best in house, tech house, techno and deep house in what is, in my opinion, the perfect extension of the Subliminal brand. I could not be more excited,” Morillo said of the SiriusXM deal. – Staff Writers
