Due to the overwhelming response in sold-out shows for the "Down From the Mountain" tour, The Coen Brothers and T Bone Burnett have announced two additional tour dates in Washington, DC on February 5 and Seattle, WA on February 15.
The 17-city tour, which will send the hugely successful music from the feature film O Brother, Where Art Thou on the road for the first time, kicks off in Lexington, Ky. at the Rupp Arena on Friday, Jan 25.
The tour is a joint production between Immortal Entertainment Group, United Talent Agency, The Metropolitan Entertainment Group and House of Blues Concerts, Inc.
Artists include Alison Krauss & Union Station, Emmylou Harris, Patty Loveless, Ralph Stanley, The Whites, Norman and Nancy Blake, Chris Thomas King, Bob Neuwirth, The Peasall Sisters and The Nashville Bluegrass Band. The concert will include individual as well as collective performances, culminating in a grand finale featuring all artists performing together.
