LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — The newly revived Chrysalis Records has named veteran indie label head John Dyer as Managing Director.
According to Music Business Worldwide, Dyer will focus on day-to-day oversight at Chrysalis, as well as providing input on the creative and strategic direction of the label.
Before he joined the Chrysalis team, Dyer spent eleven years at Domino Records, where he served as director of the indie label.
He also did a stint as GM of [PIAS] Recordings UK and also worked for Mute Records as their Marketing Manager.
Jeremy Lascelles, CEO Chrysalis Records said, “John’s track record speaks for itself. He has worked for many of the leading independent labels and in his recent spell at Domino, a company we much admire, he has worked with and helped to break some of the most exciting, important British bands of the last decade.
“He will be a huge asset here at Chrysalis Records and is an indication of the ambitions we have for the label.” – Staff Writers
