Fastixx, an operating division of WestCoast Hospitality Corporation, has changed its name to TicketsWest.
WestCoast is making this change as part of an overall strategy to build stronger brand recognition for its ticketing division, TicketsWest. The change coincides with the continuing building of the TicketsWest brand throughout the United States.
WestCoast Hospitality Corporation acquired Fastixx in 1999 and has continuously been building market share in the Oregon region and has also provided Fastixx with the ability to give customers real time internet ticketing transactions.
"TicketsWest is about providing exceptional client services as well as providing that same type of service to our customers," stated Jack Lucas, vice president, TicketsWest. "The collective strength of the TicketsWest brand provides an exceptional alternative to consumers and potential clients, and given our strong presence in many markets, this will only help in providing us with more visibility to grow our brand."
Fastixx currently has a regional outlet distribution system in many selected Safeway stores throughout the State of Oregon and TicketsWest looks to continue this relationship and expand its regional outlet network.
