Scott Fedewa has joined Live Nation as its new senior vice president and executive producer for Interactive Platforms. Based in the Beverly Hills, CA office and reporting to Bryan Perez, President – Interactive, Fedewa is responsible for the creative development, strategy, build-out and operations of the new LiveNation.com site, as well as new initiatives into mobile and other new media platforms.
“As our industry continues to evolve, Live Nation’s worldwide audience of fans are increasingly interested in new online experiences associated with our events," said Perez. "Scott is an experienced interactive entertainment executive and will be a key member of the team in leading our efforts to provide our customers with ground-breaking online experiences."
Fedewa has been building innovative online entertainment businesses for over 10 years. He has worked with television clients including Bill O’Reilly, Larry King, and Trollz.com as well as founded the online music community, Musicosm.com. He is also a former record label executive. His new book “Internet Riches – An Entrepreneur’s Guide to E-commerce” is being published by the American Management Association this spring. He is also widely recognized for having written the first published scholarly legal article predicting the impact of the Internet on the music business in 1994.
