CASTELO de VIDE, Portugal (CelebrityAccess) — A wildfire ripped through a parking lot at the Andanças dance and music festival in Castelo de Vide, Portugal on Wednesday, leaving 422 destroyed vehicles in its wake.
According to the Associated Press, authorities said there were no injuries in the blaze, but more than 4,000 people were evacuated from the festival grounds during the blaze.
Musician Pedro Mestre told Portuguese broadcaster TVI that the cars exploded like "popcorn" as the fire spread through the lot.
Officials are investigating to determine the cause of the blaze.
