SEATTLE, WA (CelebrityAccess) — Indie folk hipsters Fleet Foxes announced their first live dates in years when they hit the road next summer for an international tour.
The band first revealed several festival dates on Instagram and then, in response to a question from a fan on the social media service, frontman Robin Pecknold confirmed that the band was planning additional shows.
So far, only five dates have been revealed, by Pecknold said that the band was headed to "Australia in May, EU in July, US Aug, US October, EU November."
Currently announced shows include a trio of performances at the Bilbao BBK Live festival in Spain and a pair of dates at Dublin's Iveagh Gardens, all in July.
The Foxes will likely be touring in support of new material. Their last album was 2011's "Helplessness Blues" and last month, they hinted on Facebook that they almost had a new release in the can after collaborating with drummer and frequent collaborator Neal Morgan. – Staff Writers
