The 4th annual New Jersey Reggae Fest will take place this year on September 19 at the Newark Symphony Hall Terrace Lot in Newark. Produced and promoted by G-City Entertainment, this year's show promises to be the biggest reggae event ever staged in the state of New Jersey.
Billed as "Showdown Downtown," NJ Reggae Fest '04 features dancehall artists along with Soca, including Kevin Lyttle performing his #1 hit "Turn Me On" featuring Spragga Benz. Other performers include Capleton, Bounty Killa, Vybz Kartel, Coco Tea, Assassin, KC Jockey, Macka Diamond Richie Spice and Chuck Fenda.
"With the addition of international star Kevin Lyttle, Spice and Kartel to the lineup, it makes the New Jersey Reggae Fest a must attend event this year" boasted Kacy. Rankine, CEO of G-City Entertainment. "Promoters in the past have overlooked the Garden State as a viable alternative for staging concerts in the Tri-State area. My goal is to change that and to make Newark, New Jersey the city of choice for reggae concerts." –Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
