LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Wembley Stadium has named former ex-Sunderland FC commercial director Gary Hutchinson to the newly created role of head of venue sales and commercial partnerships.
Hutchinson, who announced his departure from SAFC last December, oversaw the concert business at Stadium Of Light in Sunderland for the past five years, bringing in shows like the Foo Fighters, Coldplay and Bruce Springsteen.
While at Wembley, he will oversee all Club Wembley sales and delivery, hospitality and all live events, including concerts, NFL, rugby, boxing, football club occupations, EFL cup, retail and tours and other business related to the stadium and St Georges Park.
Other staffing changes at Wembley include the promotion of Liam Boylan, formerly of SJM Concerts to stadium general manager. – Staff Writers
