GRAMMYs Alert: Deadlines To Submit For 2016 GRAMMY Awards Nomination Consideration

(Hypebot) – It's often tempting to dismiss the Grammys as irrelevant. But face it, there's not much that can equal the PR and sales bump that the Grammys do. To make sure that you don't miss any deadlines, the folks at A2IM, who produce the great Libera indie music awards, offer a guide.

If you are a voting member of The Recording Academy your deadline to submit music via their Online Entry Process is as follows:

First Round: Opens July 1, 2015 and closes July 22, 2015 for commercial recordings released between October 1, 2014 and July 31, 2015.

Final Round: Opens August 12, 2015 and closes August 26, 2015 for commercial recordings released between August 1, 2015 and September 30, 2015.

If you are NOT a voting member but you are a “Registered Media Company/Record Label” with The Recording Academy, you are invited to submit music for consideration, but are ineligible to vote in the GRAMMY Awards process.

The entry process is currently closed. During the Online Entry Period (see above), sign into GRAMMYPro to submit an entry for consideration.
