(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) –Gretchen Wilson has been instructed by her doctor to take a vocal rest. "There is nothing urgent about her condition," her Sony Music Nashville publicist Michele Schweitzer said. "She has been working non-stop for 15 months, and this is the best time for her to take a rest. She has fulfilled all her commitments for the release of her new album, All Jacked Up (The Today Show, Live! with Regis & Kelly, Canadian press, radio satellite tour, etc..) and will perform, as scheduled, at the Virginia State Fair on September 29."
Two upcoming concerts that have been moved are Huntsville, AL from October 7 to December 17 and Perry, GA on October 8, which has been canceled with the hope of rescheduling in 2006. She will begin The Revolution Tour with Big & Rich and the Musik Mafia on November 4 in Houston, Texas. –Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
