Harvey Promoted To VP At Universal Music Nashville


(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Universal Music Nashville has promoted Retta Harvey to vice president of Video Production for its Lost Highway, Mercury, MCA Nashville and DreamWorks Nashville labels.

In her new role, Harvey will continue to commission videos for the division's labels, solicit video concepts, approve budgets, supervise video production and oversee the editing process. Additionally, she will be responsible for promoting the finished product to major networks. During her career, she has worked with such award-winning artists as Shania Twain, Toby Keith, Terri Clark and Willie Nelson, among many others.

"Retta's extensive knowledge and experience has been instrumental in the success of our video department," stated Luke Lewis, co-chairmen of Universal Music Nashville. "We are very pleased to acknowledge her dedication and hard work with this well-deserved promotion."

Most recently, Harvey was senior director of Video Production for Universal Music Nashville. She began the division's video department 12 years ago and has been with the label group ever since. Her video career began at Atlantic Records in New York City. –Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
