(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Henry Haid has taken his unique position as the “Piano Man” from Broadway’s Tony award-winning musical “Movin’ Out,” and expanded it into the ultimate tribute to the music of Billy Joel, featuring the 10-piece band, Glass Houses.
Glass Houses explodes on stage with heart-pounding renditions of some of Billy Joel’s all-time greatest songs, including “Scenes From an Italian Restaurant,” “Piano Man,” and “Only the Good Die Young.”
Featuring a four-piece horn section, Glass Houses packs an extra punch to songs like “The Ballad of Billy the Kid,” “Tell Her About It,” and “I Go to Extremes,” and over 25 of Joel’s hits.
Haid is currently performing as the “Piano man” at the Richard Rodgers Theater, but has been playing the Long Island club scene in bands like “Only In America,” “Strange Brew” and “Straight Up.” He has worked with bassist Will Lee, from the CBS Late Show Orchestra, drummer Liberty Devito, of Billy Joel’s band, and producer Jack Douglas, who has worked with John Lennon and Aerosmith.
