THE BAHAMAS (CelebrityAccess) — Errol Brown, the front man of the soul group Hot Chocolate has died due to complications of liver cancer. He was 71 at the time of his death.
Brown's manager Phil Dale told the Associated Press that Brown died in the Bahamas and that while he had been ill for several years, his death came as a surprise.
"(Brown) had been poorly over the past few months but he never discussed it," Dale told the Associated Press.
Founded by Errol Brown and Tony Wilson, Hot Chocolate saw its greatest successes in the 1970s, with hits such as "You Sexy Thing" and "It Started With A Kiss."
Brown is survived by his wife and two daughters. – Staff Writers
