Jobing.com Arena Sticks With Ticketmaster But May Have A New Moniker

GLENDALE, AZ (CelebrityAccess) — Arizona Coyotes Co-Owner, President and CEO Anthony LeBlanc announced that the team has re-upped on their ticketing agreement with Ticketmaster.

The ten-year extension will see Ticketmaster continue to sell tickets for all Coyotes home games and events at soon to be Gila River Arena.

“We are very excited to announce a long-term partnership with Ticketmaster,” said LeBlanc. “Ticketmaster is widely recognized as the safest, most secure and most convenient ticket service in the world. We are confident that our fans will enjoy this first-class ticket-buying experience."

Previously, the Glendale sports arena was known as the Jobing.com Arena but a new nine-year sponsorship agreement between the Coyotes and the Gila River Casinos will see the venue's name changed, pending approval from the Glendale City Council.

The deal, if approved, will see Glendale collecting $600,000 per year in naming rights, as well as revenue from ticket surcharge fees and other sources, LeBlanc told the Arizona Republic.

Also included in the in what was described as a "separate transaction" was additional investment for marketing and advertising for the Gila River Casinos. – Staff Writers
