(CelebrityAccess News Service) – Joker Productions is assuming the booking duties for Pittsburgh's 150-capacity Club Cafe, after Karl Mullen, its booker for many years, left to pursue other interests.
"To have this as an exclusive is good for us," Joker's Jon Rinaldo told CelebrityAccess. "It gives us an opportunity to develop and book smaller acts and upcoming artists. We'll be able to showcase different types of talent.
Joker already books three other Pittsburgh area clubs: 1,000-capacity, all ages Club Laga, 450-capacity and 250-capacity Metropol.
Upcoming shows at Club Cafe include Jim Lauderdale, Holmes Brothers, Bottle Rockets, Chris Whitley, Mindy Smith, David Wilcox, Scott Miller and others. — Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
