NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A Kenny Chesney lookalike was ejected from a country music festival by venue security for allegedly impersonating a celebrity.
Tennessee resident Nathan Blankenship had paid $200 for a ticket to see Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw perform at the Nashville stop of the Brothers of the Sun tour but was booted from the premises by security for “creating a disturbance.”
Blankenship subsequently told reporters, "He just said you are purposely trying to impersonate a celebrity, so we're kicking you out." Blankenship had been allegedly taking photos with concert-goers, but he contends they knew he was just a look-alike.
"They like to make their friends or family think that they were with Kenny. That's fine, I don't mind, I can't help the way I look," Blankenship told the New York Post.
While Blankenship was originally told that he would not be offered a refund for his concert ticket, he has since been contacted by the show's promoter and Sony Music and offered a refund along with some free CDs. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
