LOS ANGELES, CA (October 28, 2016) – Knitting Factory Entertainment is continuing their expansion with the launch of their new industry consulting division, Knitting Factory Group.
Offering both White Label and KFE-branded services, Knitting Factory Group (KFG) will allow independent venues to outsource tasks such as talent buying, venue management, and event production.
In addition, KFE will unveil a publicly-available, SaaS-based mobile/web version of its comprehensive Venue Management Solution in 2017 which the company says is aimed at helping independent venue operators create reports and projections on the performance of their business.
“Knitting Factory has always stood for independence. Even as our own operations have grown steadily over the past few years, we’re always looking to support and help others grow their business” said KFE President and CEO Morgan Margolis.
The launch of the new consulting division comes amidst a period of growth for the company. In addition to acquiring its stake in Spaceland Presents, they’ve opened new restaurants in Brooklyn, NY and North Hollywood, CA, inked new venue agreements in NYC, Montana, Nebraska and Central California, hired several new executives and talent buyers and commenced new partnerships, including those with Rachel Ray, Giant Step Marketing and the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund.
Current clients for KFG already include The Slowdown in Omaha, NE; SLO Brew in San Luis Obispo, CA; The Highline Ballroom in New York City and The Downtown Long Beach Association in Long Beach, CA. – Staff Writers
