LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Festival Republic's Leeds and Reading Festivals have fully sold out after only 24 hours of ticket sales.
Tickets for the twin festivals, held from Aug. 28 to 30, were priced at £175 ($251.56) for the full weekend, and day tickets were going for £70 ($100.65).
Headliners for this years festivals include Radiohead, Kings Of Leon and Arctic Monkeys.
"This is the 7th year in succession that both events have sold out within 24 hours of going on sale and I am very very pleased of course. The stature of the events have grown and grown each year and this year’s line up only adds to that." said Festival Republic honcho Melvin Benn in a statement.
If you were lazy and didn't get tickets, don't worry – you have options. Festival Republic also announced that they've pacted with secondary ticket website Viagogo as their 'official secondary ticket exchange' for the events.
"I must express caution towards all those who will now try to get their hands on tickets in whatever way they can as they do need to be careful of dodgy sites. The only site I can recommend will be Viagogo who will at least guarantee anything they sell." Benn added. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
