(CelebrityAccess News Service) — Shura Lindgren has been named the first general manager of Global Spectrum's St. Charles Convention Center in Missouri. The 154,000-square-foot facility is scheduled to open in the spring 2005. Lindgren previously spent 15 years as vice president of visitor development at the Midland Chamber of Commerce and director of the Midland Convention Center in Texas.
"Shura Lindgren is highly respected for her expertise in tourism, conventions, expos, meetings and convention center operations," says Michel Sauers, Global Spectrum president.
