MELBOURNE, Victoria (CelebrityAccess) — As Live Nation prepares to assume the operation of the iconic Palais Theatre in Melbourne next year, they have appointed veteran facilities manager Mark Graham to oversee the venue.
According to the Melbourne Leader, Graham spent a 25-year stint as the event operations manager for the Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust, which oversees Rod Laver, Hisense and Margaret Court arenas, AAMI Park, the Westpac Centre and the Melbourne Park Function Centre.
More recently he spent 10 years as the manager of several horse racing clubs, including Kyneton, Pakenham, and Bairnsdale, the Leader said.
Live Nation will take over the Palais in April next year after it was awarded a 30-year lease of the theater in July.
In the interim, Graham will get his feet wet overseeing several events in Doha on behalf of Live Nation. – Staff Writers
