ANTIOCH (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Its a done deal. After months of negotiation, Live Nation has sold the Starwood Amphitheatre to a Vastland Realty Group, a real estate development firm based in Nashville.
According to a report in the Nashville Business Journal, the amphitheatre and the 65 acre parcel of land that it is built on was sold for 4.2 million.
A scheduled show on May 17th, "Volunteer Jam 2007 presents Charlie Daniels Band with The Marshall Tucker Band, The Outlaws" has been canceled.
According to the NBJ, Vastland officials have refused to opine on their plans for the shed but observers expect that the land will be used for commercial or residential development and not live entertainment. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
