Lynyrd Skynyrd To Benefit R&RHoF

Nashville (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) —
Lynyrd Skynyrd will be donating a portion of every ticket sold from their upcoming September 13 show at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum Education Programs. The band was inducted into the Hall of Fame on March 13, 2006.

"Lynyrd Skynyrd is one of the defining Southern Rock groups and an important contributor to the American Songbook. To have them help raise funds for our educational programs just further demonstrates that they recognize the power music has- not just with individuals, but with our society in general," says Todd Mesek, vice president of Marketing and Communications, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. "The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame programs reach thousands of students with the Cleveland-based school programs and countless more with its distance learning and adult education programs.
