Madonna's Tel Aviv Tour Launch Postponed

TEL AVIV (VIP NEWS) — The kickoff of Madonna's "MDNA Tour" has been pushed back a couple of days due to production delays, according to concert promoter Live Nation.

Originally scheduled to open May 29 at Ramat Gan Stadium in Tel Aviv, the tour is now scheduled to launch on May 31. Those holding tickets for the May 29 show can use them for admission on the rescheduled dates.

The rest of the Material Girl's itinerary remains the same. Madonna has already announced 76 concert dates, and 1.4 million tickets have been sold to date, according to Live Nation.

Among the sellouts logged so far are Berlin (two shows), Amsterdam, Barcelona, Istanbul (45,000 tickets sold), Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal, Quebec City (70,000 tickets), New York's Yankee Stadium (73,000 tickets over 2 shows), Washington DC, and Los Angeles' Staples Center.

Madonna's new album, "MDNA," hit stores March 26 and debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart, but sales numbers for the set have quickly faded.
