Martin Garrix Sues Former Manager

AMSTERDAM (VIP-NEWS)- Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix is taking his former manager Eelko van Kooten of Spinnin’ Records to court.

This past summer, the young Dutch artist split with Spinnin’ after a disagreement over ownership rights of his music, but he now plans to take their disparity a step further.

According to Dutch publication Telegraaf, Garrix has filed a lawsuit against van Kooten, claiming he was provided "false and misleading information" during his signing to the label and management company. Garrix is now demanding restitution of the rights to his music.

The mastermind behind "Animals" was only 17 years old when he inked the co-management deal with MusicAllStars Management and Scooter Braun Projects. Since then, Garrix has collaborated with stars like Usher and Tiësto.
