ISSAQUAH, Washington, (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Indie rock outfit Modest Mouse was forced to skip a series of European dates earlier this month after frontman Isaac Brock was struck in the head by a flying bottle.
The singer reportedly required surgery to repair the damage. A video has appeared on YouTube of a June 7th show in which he can be heard to answer a member of the audience's question about why his eye is red by stating "I got hit in the face with a bottle" and then adding "I have surgery tomorrow".
According to Pitchfork, the surgery went well and the band will resume their busy tour on June 19th.
So far, three of the canceled dates have been rescheduled for July 2-4.
