MALTA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Partnering with G7 Events and the Malta Tourism Authority, the event will cap off Malta Music Week which will feature parties and events at many of Malta's top nightspots.
The Isle of MTV will be held at at the Floriana Granaries on June 25th and will feature some top international talent, including: The Kooks, OneRepublic, N*E*R*D, Lady Gaga and Enrique Iglesias.
Other artists performing at events during the week leading up to MTV's event are Filo & Peri, Katherine Ellis, and Alexandra Prince, together with the local G7 residents Tony Tony, Mykill, Pierre Cordina, Blade, JJoy, Steve Caesar, Miss Roberta, Armani, Ruby, and Tenishia the Malta Independent reported.
MTV International has signed a three year deal with the Maltese Government to stage the event in the nation. The deal extends to 2010 and was formulated as an effort to enhance tourism to the island.
