MONCTON, New Brunswick (CelebrityAccess) — SMG Canada has appointed Nick DeLuco as the first General Manager of the Moncton Downtown Centre in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, effective immediately.
The 8,500 seat Downtown Event Centre, currently under construction, is scheduled to open in September of 2018.
DeLuco comes to his new role with more than 10 years experience in facility management, serving most recently as the Assistant General Manager for the SMG managed Rogers K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Ontario. In other roles, DeLuco has done everything from box office manager to marketing at the SMG-managed Hershey Centre (Mississauga, Ontario) and the Essar Center in Sault Ste. Marie, which he helped to open in 2006.
