Olympia Claims A Strong Year In 2010


DETROIT (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Detroit based marketer of sports and entertainment events Olympia Entertainment, posted strong fianancial results for 2010.

Olympia, along with other Ilitch-owned companies, hosted over 350 sporting and entertainment events, including Eminem-Jay Z Concerts at Comerica Park and more than 2.5 million tickets sold to Detroit Tigets games, as well as 28 sold-out Detroit Redwings games in 2010.

The company is privately held and is not required by law to release financial information.

Wilson also revealed that the company will undergo a restructuring with business operations of Olympia Entertainment and the business operations of the Detroit Red Wings being streamlined. Reporting directly to Wilson will be:
