BOULDER, CO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — In the past year electronic music has stolen the spotlight in Colorado, and 2011 shows no signs of slowing down.
Boulder based producer Alex Botwin is one such individual leading the charge. His new project Paper Diamond just announced it's signing to the exclusive Pretty Lights Music imprint.
The debut EP "Levitate" is set to come out on January 25th 2011 as a free download. The label is run by Colorado phenom Derek Vincent Smith who has been selling out venues nationwide including Red Rocks Amphitheater.
The recent trend of free, direct to fan releases has helped to launch sustainable touring careers for many young artists and Botwin is among those ranks. Along with Paper Diamond, Botwin commands a successful design firm and record label called Elm and Oak which does Web design, branding, clothing and merchandising.
Paper Diamond has released a video and offered a free download a preview track from the upcoming EP.
