WORCESTER, MA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Jam band icons Phish have announced that they are prepping a major tour of North America this summr as well as the initial round of east coast dates.
The tour will kick off on June 7th with a two-night stand at the DCU Center in Worcester Mass and the initial round of dates will carry the band through to early July when they put in three nights worth of shows at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
In what has become a custom for the band in recent years, the tour announcment was accompanied by a video that features the band's drummer Jon Fishman at a 'secret training facility' doing a Rocky Balboa-like training montage, onstensibly prepping for the upcoming rigors of the road.
There is still no word yet if the band intends to stage a return of their wildly popular summer festival.
