THOUSAND OAKS, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Barry McComb has been named the new Cultural Affairs Director for the City of Thousand Oaks, California, replacing Tom Mitze who retired after serving 18 years in the position.
McComb, who assumed his new role on February 6, 2012, will oversee the operations and programming of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza consisting of the 1,800-seat Fred Kavli Theatre and the 394-seat Janet and Ray Scherr Forum Theatre.
McComb previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Glendale Arts in Glendale, California, which manages the historic Alex Theatre and the Glendale Pops Orchestra.
