ARRAN, Scotland (CelebrityAccess) — Police investigators have determined that there was no truth to reports that a baby seal was clubbed to death with a brick on stage at a music festival in Scotland.
According to the Daily Record, police launched an investigation into the alleged death after Scottish hip hop artist John Lowis claimed that he saw a member of the band Azure Halo "covered in blood" and throwing the carcass of the dead seal around stage during the Deoch an Dorus festival on Arran.
The accusations sparked recriminations on the band's social media page and Azure Halo quickly denied the allegations.
Police later confirmed what the members of Azure Halo said, saying that their investigation led them to believe the seal was already dead.
A police spokeswoman told te Daily Record: “Our information is that the baby seal was washed up on the beach on Thursday and that it was already dead." – Staff Writers
