Recording Artists Coalition Head To State Capitol

Don Henley, Sheryl Crow, Beck and Stevie Nicks are among the artists from the Recording Artists Coalition scheduled to join Sen. Kevin Murray January 23 at the State Capitol in Sacramento, Calif. to support Senate Bill 1246, legislation to repeal section 2855, subsection B of the California labor code.

As the current law stands, after seven years every entertainer/artist, and worker in California except recording artists, has the right to terminate a personal service contract.

Other artists expected to attend include Carole King, Dexter Holland (Offspring), Courtney Love, John Fogerty, Paul Coucette (Matchbox Twenty), Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), Kool Moe Dee and Steve Berlin (Los Lobos).
