Rogers & Cowan And Frukt Aligned Under New Leadership

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Octagon Sports and Entertainment has combined its two public relations companies, Rogers & Cowan and Frukt, under one management team.

The two will remain independent brands, but after Jan. 18th, they will both be combined under the oversight of CEO Mark Owens and COO Rich Davis.

"We are keeping both brands but want to offer our clients a holistic solution and cover the gamut from access to activation to amplification to analytics for our clients on a global basis," Owens told PRWeek "Being more closely aligned under the leadership of me and [Davis], we will be able to be much more successful for our clients."

Rogers & Cowan, which will continue to be managed by chairman Paul Bloch and co-presidents Alan Nierob and Fran Curtis, represents creatives ranging from Denzel Washington to the Rolling Stones. As well, the firm handles PR for high profile clients such as the Grammys.

Frukt, led by U.K. co-managing directors Dom Hodge, Chris Heath, and Jim Robinson and U.S. managing director Shirley Richter Hughes, specializes in brand integrations and partnerships between corporate clients and creatives. Clients include Mastercard, Live Nation and Delta Airlines, who have partnered with the Grammys.

“This is a culmination of a long-term vision to bring together and strengthen our collective pop culture brand and entertainment services,” said Rick Dudley, Chairman, and CEO of the Octagon Sports and Entertainment Network. “Our new offices in Los Angeles and London, refreshed branding and updated websites reflect our investment in the people and culture of both brands and our confidence in Mark and Rich to take the group to new heights.” – Staff Writers
