PHILADELPHIA, PA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Ramseur Records recording artist Samantha Crain will be the featured artist on WXPN’s “World Café Live” show on Tuesday, October 6 at 2 pm ET. The 24-year-old, Shawnee, OK native’s haunting voice, well-chosen words and emotional depth ring true in a way that sets her apart from most artists of her generation, with The New York Times describing her as having “a voice that traverses the space between Gillian Welch and Regina Spektor.” Crain’s debut Ramseur EP, The Confiscation: A Musical Novella, just earned her the “Songwriter of the Year” Nammy Award (Native American Grammy), with the EP receiving three Nammy nominations in all!
