Sandy Gallin – Where Is He Now?

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Since retiring from his successful management career in 1998, Sandy Gallin has been making waves outside of the entertainment community in the world of real estate.

Gallin, who made a name for himself managing musicians like Parton, Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson and producing movies like the Steve Martin vehicle "Father of the Bride," has found newfound success in flipping high-end houses – nearly 3 dozen to date, according to the International Tribune.

Using his old industry connections, Gallin has earned a reputation for helping movers and shakers on the left coast find the right digs.

"I originally started redoing houses to deal with stress. I found that the hour I could go to a job site every day took my mind off the 24/7 of thinking about my clients. When my business manager said to me, 'You've made more money doing this than producing,' it really surprised me. So I thought, 'Why not just do it?" Gallin told the International Tribune.

Among the numerous homes Gallin has sold, one went to Mark Burnett, producer of the hit television show "Survivor", who dropped nearly 30 million on a custom-furnished Gallin estate.

"Being a manager is about getting into the minds of the people you represent. It's no different in real estate." There is, of course, one big difference, Gallin noted. "The houses don't talk back." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
