ROSKILDE, Denmark (VIP NEWS) — New director for Roskilde Festival will be the current deputy director Signe Lopdrup, who has been employed since 2012.
She takes over as CEO on Oct. 1, 2016, while Henrik Rasmussen will continue to be affiliated Festival Group as a consultant.
Roskilde Festival`s board did not have to look far to find the replacement for Roskilde Festival longtime CEO Henrik Rasmussen, who had announced his departure at the end of the year.
– We are on the board very excited that Signe has agreed to be the new CEO of Roskilde Festival Group. She has both the right understanding of Roskilde DNA nonprofit values and possess the right mix of artistic insight and organizational understanding, which is necessary to ensure such a unique cultural institution like ours. Not least, she has throughout his career, both with us in recent years and earlier, managed to put both music and festival in interaction with the environment and on the agenda, says Steen Jørgensen, Chairman of the Association Roskilde Festival.
Signe Lopdrup says :

Signe Lopdrup is 48, she came to Roskilde Festival after heading Copenhagen Jazz Festival. She is married to architect Bjørn Ginman, with whom she has two adult daughters .
