MCDADE, TX (CelebrityAccess) — Music fans at the Sound on Sound music festival were forced to seek shelter in their vehicles while a dangerous weather front moved through the area on Sunday.
According to NBC affiliate, KXAN, festival staff issued a warning via Twitter that they were monitoring dangerous weather and that festival attendees should seek shelter in their cars or exit the festival grounds toward the shuttles.
The festival remained offline until 5PM when they re-opened the gates and re-admitted fans to the Bastrop County festival grounds.
2016 is the inaugural year for the festival, which features a lineup that includes headliners Beach House, Explosions In The Sky, Big Boi, Run The Jewels, Purity Ring, Deerhunter, Young Thug and others. – Staff Writers
