SEDALIA, MO (CelebrityAccess) — The Missouri State Fair announced on Wednesday that they were pulling the plug on the Southern Uprising concert due to dangerous weather conditions.
According to the Missouri State Fair, the decision was made after the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning, with winds of up to 40-50 mph predicted for the Sedalia region where the fair takes place.
The Southern Uprising concert was part of a nationwide tour by a group of country artists that included Travis Tritt, The Charlie Daniels Band, The Marshall Tucker Band and The Outlaws.
