LAHORE, Pakistan (CelebrityAccess MediaWIre) — A stampede at a concert by Pakistani pop star Atif Aslam at the Alhamra Cultural Complex in Lahore, left three girls dead and dozens injured.
The show, organized by a local college was reported by over capacity, but the reasons behind why the stampede actually took place were not clear.
Aslam later commented on the tragedy, releasing the following statement: "Todays incident has left me in a state of shock and dismay. I am deeply saddened by what transpired after mondays concert. My deepest condolences to the victims and their families for the terrible loss that they have suffered and I pray that Allah will help them through this ordeal."
