LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Rolling Stones have split with their longtime business manager, Prince Rupert Loewenstein, according to a statement from their publicist.
“Prince Rupert Loewenstein is no longer taking care of the Rolling Stones day to day business but is currently retained on some aspects of their career,” the statement read.
Sources close to the band told Billboard that Loewenstein will not be replaced.
The Stones are currently getting ready to head back out on their world-record-holding “A Bigger Bang” tour, as they are set to play several European cities that had to be cancelled on their last trek.
The band will also be headlining their first U.K. festival, the Isle of Wight Festival, and will play shows in St. Petersburg, Russia, Serbia and the Ukraine for the first time. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
