NEW YORK, NY (CelebrityAccess) — The Agency Group has named veteran talent agent Jeremy Norkin to the newly-created post of Director of Latin Operations, effective immediately.
In his new role at TAG, Norkin will oversee the opening of The Agency Group's Miami office, which will be focused on serving US Hispanic and Latin American markets.
Norkin, who previously held positions at NTA, RLM, and WMA, has worked with some of the most significant acts in Latin music including Miguel Bosé, José Carreras, Fonseca, Juanes, Los Tigres del Norte, Orishas, Raphael, Paulina Rubio, Arturo Sandoval, and Alejandro Sanz. He has also provided consulting services to businesses expanding into the Latin market such as General Motors and MySpace.
Most recently, he founded Norkin Talent Agency, and brings to The Agency Group his diverse roster which boasts Grammy and Latin Grammy Award winning artist Natalia Jiménez, two time Latin Grammy and MTV Music Award winning rapper Mala Rodríguez, Italian superstar Jovanotti, top DJ Juan Magán, Latin Grammy and MTV Music Award winning group Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas, indie rising star Diego Garcia, and international sales-record holding humorist Andrés López. Billboard Magazine recognized Norkin early in his career as a “30 Under 30 Power Player.”
