LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Nederlander Concerts has announced the hiring of veteran agent David Poe as at talent buyer, commencing officially on January 20th.
Poe will handle booking and promotion of live entertainment for several Nederlander venues including The Greek Theatre and the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, City National Grove of Anaheim and City National Civic of San Jose, plus third party facilities including Galen Center at the University of Southern California, Long Beach Terrace Theater, San Diego Civic, RIMAC Arena at UC San Diego and Raley Field in Sacramento, among others.
Before joining the Nederlander team, Poe was most recently an agent at The Agency Group, where he booked a personal roster that included King Britt, k-os, The Cat Empire, Radical Face, and A Tribe Called Red among numerous others.
Poe got his start in the industry as an intern at TAG before taking a position at Philip Citron, Inc. & Chaplin Entertainment, obtaining artist avails and negotiating fees for theatres, clubs, performing arts centers and symphonies.
