Tennessee Titans Re-Up With Ticketmaster

NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Just days after the Dallas Cowboys opted to ditch Ticketmaster in exchange for their rival SeatGeek, Live Nation’s ticketing division announced that they’d sealed a deal to extend their partnership with the National Football League’s Tennessee Titans and Nissan Stadium in Nashville, TN.

Under this renewed agreement, Ticketmaster will continue to serve as the official secondary ticketing marketplace for the Tennessee Titans, allowing fans to buy, sell and transfer verified tickets. As well, Ticketmaster will be the official ticketing partner for all live events at Nissan Stadium.

The news comes as the Titans plan to roll out digital tickets for events at the stadium and for Titans games. The digital system will allow punters to access tickets on their mobile device, download to a digital wallet, receive personalized event information, and provide access to a streamlined venue entry experience.

Ticketmaster’s platform also comes with the analytic bells and whistles that have become de rigueur for any major ticketing entity these days, and includes metrics on ticket lifecycle and fan engagement, Ticketmaster said.

Ticketmaster reports that they’ve delivered more than 11 million home game tickets to fans at the stadium since they started their partnership with the Titans in 1997.

“Ticketmaster has been an invaluable partner of ours since 1997, and we’re ecstatic to continue this partnership coming in to the 2018 season,” said Stuart Spears, Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer for the Tennessee Titans. “Their technology creates the type of experience that we have always dreamed of – where fans can manage their tickets at the touch of a button and experience the game in a convenient and personal way.”
