This Is Music Launched As New Management Shop & Label

LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Music lawyer Oli Isaacs and IE Music's Tim Clark and David Enthoven have teamed up to launch a new management company and record label called This Is Music LTD. The new venture will continue to provide management for Oli's roster (Simian Mobile Disco/James Ford, A-Trak, FrankMusik, Findlay Brown, Little Boots, and The Black Ghosts) as well as promoting and releasing records by the likes of Barringtone (Ex-Clor), Invasion, Sisters of Transistors, Lord Skywave and Mujava.

Oli had been running an artist and producer management business for 3 years having left law firm Smiths-Law where he had represented artists such as Hot Chip, Cut Copy, Patrick Wolf and Test Icicles and labels including Moshi Moshi. He is best known for his work with James Ford and Simian Mobile Disco who have clocked up almost 100k worldwide sales this year. James Ford won both of this year's Music Week and MMF Producer of the year awards for his production on platinum records by Arctic Monkey's and the Mercury Prize winning Klaxons.

This Is Music is also working on developing new artists as well and are presently working on 2009 campaigns for FrankMusik (Island Records) and Little Boots (Atlantic). Karen Tillotson was recruited from 19 Management to work specifically with those two artists.

On the label side, IE Music and This is Music Ltd will be collaborating closely to release and market Findlay Brown's second album in early 2009. The Erol Alkan/Richard Norris produced single "All That I Have" is set for release this Autumn.
