LOS ANGELES, (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation's ticketing division Ticketmaster has released an app for iPhone.
iPhone users can use the app to find events, browse event details and purchase tickets. As an extension of Ticketmaster.com, the app allows users to log into their MyTicketmaster account to purchase event tickets directly from their iPhone.

To help users locate events of interest, the app scans users iTunes music library in order to develop a profile for the user. Users can opt to allow the phone's built-in location services to further tailor event suggestions. Fans can add as many as 40 additional filters to add additional customizations to selected events.
Inevitably, the app is also interlinked with various social media platforms, allowing fans to Tweet, Facebook or Foursquare during any part in the shopping experience or during the show.
