VERNON, CT (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — TicketNetwork's CEO Don Vaccaro has hinted that he may move the company after the town of Vernon, where TicketNetwork is currently headquartered, rejected a proposal from the company to build a concert venue there.
Last month, the town's planning board rejected TicketNetwork's application to build an outdoor amphitheater in the town, citing concerns about noise, traffic and crowds. Vaccaro however, contends that the panel had based their decision on inaccurate information provided by opponents to the plan and has said that he is currently considering "several options" to resolve the situation, including an appeal in Superior Court, the Hartford Courant said.
It appears as if a possible move for TicketNetwork may also be one of those options. Vaccaro hinted at this with recent statements. "We like Vernon; we want to stay in Vernon," Vaccaro told the Courant, before going on to express his concerns that any future expansion plan for the company may be rejected.
TicketNetwork is one of the largest employers in the town of Vernon and the city's Mayor Jason McCoy told the Courant that he considers the company a valued business and he hoped that it would stay and grow in the town. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
