LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – Due to the respiratory flu, Tina Turner is postponing her last two UK shows. The show at London’s O2 Arena on March 11th and show at the Sheffield Arena on March 12th are off. These concerts are now set to take place in May.
A spokesperson for Turner stated: “Tina always wants to give one hundred percent and has been overwhelmed by the reaction from her UK fans at the gigs last week.
“She regrets this decision to postpone and the inconvenience to all those fans with tickets but wants to make sure each concert she does is memorable for everyone.”
Turner made four of the five scheduled O2 gigs before finally succumbing to her malady.
The shows are now rescheduled for May 3rd for the O2 and May 5th for the Sheffield Arena.
Concert promoters Marshall Arts have asked ticket holders for London and Sheffield to hold on to their tickets for this week’s canceled shows as they are now good for the May shows.
Turner's European tour will start up again in Paris on March 16th. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
