Tour Manager Paul 'Bomber' Jackson Dies

LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Judas Priest announced that their longtime stage manager Paul 'Bomber' Jackson has died.

In a post on the band's Facebook page, a spokesperson for the group wrote:

"On Friday we had the very sad and unexpected news that our stage manager – Paul 'Bomber' Jackson – had passed away – this came as a total shock to us all – he was due to leave on tour with us this weekend for Australia and we know he was really looking forward to being part of our exceptional team again – Bomber had worked for us for many years – he not only did a great job and worked very long hours but he was also a friend – he was always bright and chirpy – a very witty and funny man – we all had plenty of fun times with him over the years – at this time none of us can really get our heads round losing him – he will be sorely missed – may you rest in peace Bomber – we miss you."

A cause of death was not revealed, and an accounting of Mr. Jackson's survivors was not available at the time of publication. – Staff Writers
